7 Essential Madden NFL 25 Tips You Need to Know

Welcome back, Madden fans! Whether you’re diving into Madden NFL 25 for the first time or looking to enhance your game, I’ve got seven essential tips to make sure you’re not missing out on some crucial opportunities. From securing top-tier players to optimizing your field pass strategy, these tips are guaranteed to level up your Madden experience. Let’s dive in!

1. Grind the AKA Crew Solos for a Free 99 Overall Player

One of the most impactful things you can do in Madden NFL 25 right now is to focus on the AKA Crew Solos. This is a game-changing opportunity that you should not overlook. By grinding through these solo challenges and reaching Tier 29, you can earn a full-free AKA player.

To do this, you’ll accumulate AKA Crew Tokens as you progress. Head over to your Sets and use these tokens in the “B&D AKA Crew Champion Exchange” set. The standout here is Richard Sherman. This 99 overall card is essentially a Golden Ticket with incredible abilities and stats. At 6’3″, Sherman has perfect cornerback stats, and you can equip him with Pick Artist, Mid Zone KO, and Deep Zone KO for just one AP each. Don’t miss out on this elite card—it’s arguably one of the best in the game and a must-have for any serious player.

2. Earn a Gold 99 Nick Bosa from Weekly Wild Card Solos

If you’re grinding through the Weekly Wild Card solos, you’re in for a treat. Complete 75 of these challenges to get a Gold 99 Nick Bosa. With 96 speed, 99 Block Shed, 99 Power Move, and 99 Finesse Move, Bosa is a formidable defensive end who can significantly boost your team’s performance. His abilities, Edge Threat and No Outsiders for just 1 AP, make him a powerhouse on the field.

3. Get a 98 Overall BN-D AKA Fantasy Player from the Competitive Field Pass

For those working on the Competitive Field Pass, reaching Level 7 will grant you a 98 Overall BN-D AKA Fantasy Player pack. Here, you have the chance to pick up another excellent player to add to your lineup. Personally, I chose Cameron Jordan, and between Jordan and Bosa, you can have two high-impact players at left and right end. This is another great way to enhance your squad without spending additional coins.

4. Don’t Forget the Archived Field Passes

Here’s a tip that might have slipped under the radar: check out the archived section of your Field Pass tab. EA Sports recently removed the NFL Draft Field Pass from the active tab, but it’s still available in the archive. If you’re close to Level 20 in this pass, you can earn a 97+ Pack, which might include a Gold 99 card. Make sure you have draft cards in your lineup to complete missions and make progress in this archived Field Pass. It’s a fantastic way to earn high-value rewards with minimal additional effort.

5. Golden Tickets: What You Need to Know

Golden Tickets are always a hot topic in Madden NFL, and this year is no exception. While the forms for these tickets have already been sent out, you still need to know how they work. Golden Tickets this year come with several exciting features:

  • Three AP Abilities: You can select three Zero AP abilities for your Golden Ticket player. However, note that some popular abilities like Master Tactician and Pass Lead Elite are not discountable to zero AP.
  • Speed Boost: For the first time, you can boost the speed of Golden Ticket players, which can make a huge difference if you’re dealing with a slower card.
  • Golden Ticket X Factor: Expect a unique X Factor based on the position of your Golden Ticket. Whether it’s for a quarterback, wide receiver, or defensive player, this X Factor will add an extra layer of power to your card.

Although the Golden Tickets might not be as overpowered as hoped, these features should still make them a valuable addition to your team.

6. Redux Players Are More Affordable

EA Sports has recently introduced 99 Overall Redux players into the game, and their prices have dropped significantly. For instance, Harold Carmichael’s Redux card is priced around $489k, which is a good deal compared to previous pricing trends. Jeremy Chinn and other Redux players have also seen price reductions. If you’re in the market for a high-caliber Redux player, now might be a great time to make a purchase.

7. Pack Openings and Tips

Finally, let’s touch on pack openings. While not always the most reliable way to secure top players, they can still be fun and occasionally rewarding. For instance, the Playmaker Packs are now slightly better, offering higher overall cards despite fewer total cards per pack. I recently pulled a 92 Overall Henry Tutu from one, which, while not the highest rating, was still a solid addition. Consider opening these packs if you’re looking to boost your team or just enjoy the thrill of the pull.

That’s it for these essential Madden NFL 25 tips! Whether you’re playing solo, chasing golden tickets, or purchasing Redux players, these strategies should help you get the most out of your game.
